Sleeping Beauty

I had the opportunity to see Sleeping beauty at Capitol Theater performed by Ballet West. I want to dance with them someday, so I love to see them perform. It was a dress rehearsal and I thought it was even more fun to see what happens after they have danced. They transform so drastically and really get into their parts.  It's fun to see them just be themselves or notice that they have corrections and weaknesses too. But they are all so amazing. The costumes were amazing and the scenery was very creative and gorgeous. The girl who played Aurora~ Sara Webb, was such a fantastic dancer and my role model~Christiana Bennett was great as the Fairy of Jealousy. I can't believe she can play Aurora and the fairy of Jealousy because the parts are complete opposites! The music was great too.  My flute teacher was the first flute and she sounded awesome. I know how hard the music is and she did a great job.
