4th of July

This year I got to be in the parade. The Layton parade for the Fairfield Junior High Officers. We met at Cache's house at 7:30 to decorate the float. We had banners, balloons and streamers. It was really fun to decorate it. We wore our tye dye shirts that they'd dyed beforehand. I was in the ballet recital while they did it, so someone else did mine. The weather wasn't too hot thankfully. My family came and saw us decorate and then to the beginning of the parade before going to the Kaysville parade. They also walked to the breakfast at 6:45 am. I rode in the 4 wheeler thing on top of the trailer with Evyn and Cami. my voice was tired at the end from yelling and screaming. The crowd wasn't very enthusiastic. I'm so glad Niki and Clint, Jennie and Ryan, Jenny and Jeremy, Grandma and Grandpa and all the rest of their family came! Thanks guys! And Michelle and Brittany and the gang! Thanks! Lexie didn't feel well the whole time and still cheered and jumped and everything. Way to go! After the parade we took a little nap before heading to grandma's. Of course we had delicious food. Pizza, salad, toast, caramel popcorn, M n' M chocolate chews and fruit! Then my favorite part! Fireworks! We always go to the same spot to watch, a field behind an LDS church. I love fireworks! I'm so thankful to live in a free country and have all the opportunities I have. Happy 4th!
