3rd of July
The fourth of July is on Sunday, so Kaysville celebrated it on the 3rd! The day started off with quiche at our house with the Kings. Ruby, my Dad and Ari walked to our parade spot, and the rest of us drove, then sprinted to 7eleven to get slurpees before the parade started. It was a great parade. One float threw out ties, and another did stuffed animals. Ruby even caught a stuffed elephant in a red, white, and blue outfit. After the parade we had a big water fight, which is usually longer. But it was still fun, and wet! Then we went to the Dopps' for a delicious lunch! The BBQ was so good and Grandma and Grandpa set up this huge water play ground, which was awesome! Finally we went to fireworks! Lexie and their family we there, and Coco and Bill. Jen and Jer and Richelle and Jeff were there too, but we didn't see them. Freestone said, "It's cool how they are in 3D!" Yea, maybe he is a little obsessed with video games, but he has too work for Wii time. The fireworks were really good, they even lasted 20 minutes. This year we also had matching tee-shirts from Old Navy! It was a great 3rd of July!
