THIRTEEN!

June 23 was my birthday an it was SOOOOOOO fun! First I woke up to see my two good friends Amanda and Rachel surprise me. We went to Granny Annie's for breakfast. It was my moms idea for them to come over and surprise me, I was really surprised! Then they came home with me and we talked. After, I went to the mall with Ruby. We got a strawberry Julius and Ruby got a Pina colada. I bought a yellow aeropostale shirt, a cute flowy shirt from Macy's, and adorable lavender colored shoes. I bought Ruby some pink and orange sandals too. we got my dad a cookie at Mrs. Field's because he was waiting for me to call him to go to lunch and I didn't know I was supposed to. We took it to him at the office and explained I didn't know he was waiting for me to call. He said it was OK, so then I went to the pool with everyone, and got my second favorite food ever! A french dip with yam fries from Oakridge! It was REALLY good. I also got a macadamia nut cookie! Yum! I swam a lot with Ruby, my first swim for the summer! And then headed home to have a hot shower then go to Young Women's. We were doing dutch oven cooking, Ty dying bandannas, and playing games like "Ride that Pony!" It was really fun, we even built fires! Finally, I went home, had fried ice cream and watched So You Think You Can Dance?
I can't believe I'm a teenager! I remember when Ruby, my cousin Lexie and I used to play "teenagers" all the time. We even had fake names, like mine was Tammy. We would pretend we had retainers-yes the things that go in your mouth-, and cell phones. I made a pretend cell phone at our cabin with pipe cleanser once!  I used to have a pretend phone with lipgloss in it and I thought it was the coolest thing ever! And now I have a cell phone and I am a teenager!
