From Monday-Thursday from 8-12 is officer training week. We're planning assemblies, writing down officer schedules, preparing for 7th grade orientation and lots more. I've been walking to the school with my friends Evyn and Luke. When we get to the school it is so hot! Especially with our sweaters on! Tomorrow is 7th grade orientation and my job is explaining to the new "sevies" that all the officers will be there the first day to help them find classes and help open their lockers. It will be fun to be with friends and help them see what Junior High will be like. I remember being so scared the first day! Hopefully we can help them get to class on time and like Junior High while being to class on time ourselves!
PS.... Yesterday we went and visited Mrs. Cobia. In July she was bucked off her horse and the horse stepped on her back and she is so paralyzed from about the waist down. A 9th grade officer interviewed her with questions mostly about teaching and FJH. She was so brave and humble about it. Since our school motto this year is Where there's a FALCON, there's a HERO, we are picking one person from the school each assembly to be that months hero. The August/September's HERO is Mrs. Cobia.
After we visited her at the hospital Cache's dad took us all to Hire's Big H. I got a raspberry shake. The officers are so funny and they all have such big personalities and are so nice they are so much fun to be around. I was laughing so hard the whole time! (Except at the hospital that was really sad!)
Summer is almost over and I am not ready quite yet!
