First Week of school!

      I love 9th grade and being an officer. I absolutely LOVE seminary and theatre. If I could choose 3 words to describe this week it'd be fun, busy, and hot! My geometry teacher wasted no time the first day and did 4 pages of notes and a text book assignment and a quiz today. I do like her though, she's a good teacher, but I need a little longer to get in the swing of things. All the cheerleaders and officers have to go to dances and games. It was the first dance I went to that I stayed for all of it. And once you just danced and got brave and ask someone and not worry about looking stupid it was so fun! I wish FJH had A.C. I've been melting all week! The seminary building is so cool, and my seminary teacher teased that it was to make the school seem like heck and the seminary building like the celestial kingdom! I've already learned so much and felt the spirit in seminary.

     Today in Theatre we did a 1 minute performance. You had to be cavemen and act out a scene without talking. My group-Evyn, Ashtyn and Katie- acted a scene where the cave people killed the tiger (which was me) and then fought about who gets to keep it. In the end Evyn drags me off while Katie and Ashtyn are still fighting. I got some bumps and bruises from them pulling on my arms and legs and being dragged off, but it was one of my favorite parts of the week. Next week will be even better, when I know what to expect and get my schedule worked out. This week has been a good start to a year I know will be so FUN!
I also wore a loose white shirt that said DANCE LOVE LIVE that I really like, a lavender shirt, a flowy floral orange shirt and a school tye-dye shirt another officer dyed for me while I was at a ballet recital.
