P.D.A. #2

This week it is grandmas!
First, Grandma Dopp
She is an amazing, baker, cook, grandma, friend, listener and shopper. Every year all 23 grand kids get the perfect Christmas presents on Christmas Eve. She has a tradition of always giving as pajamas as well. I love getting new pjs to wear as we wait for Santa! She always goes out of her way to make a delicious lunch/dinner/breakfast when we go to her clean, calm, beautiful house. She has a testimony that she enjoys sharing. She has the most fun sleepovers and she and grandpa went on a special date with each grand kid. I went to Gardener Village and got two new snow globes and had dinner at Archilbald's! It was so much fun and I'll always remember it. Thank you so much grandma!
Grandma Great
Grandma Great was my dads grandma. She passed away last year. She had white/gray short hair and was very little and kind. She always sat in the same chair at Grandma's house. It was by the window and she would watch all the grand kids play outside from her chair. She lived in the small little room by the office at grandma's. She always had a smile on her face and loved the grand kids so much. They miss her. Thank you Grandma Great!
Coco
We don't call her grandma because my dad called her Coco Channel before he had us because Coco loves to shop. She always takes us shopping for any occasion and makes sure you find the perfect thing. It is her "mission". We get amazing presents for Christmas and always shop for winter boots when it gets cold. And... she's taking Ruby, Ari and I to Paris!!!! Thanks Coco!
Nana Ruby
Nana is 93 years old and still in good health. She was on a tap dancing team a couple years ago and goes to Choir practice and church still! She is a great pianist, dancer and singer. She had the lead in her high school musical, The Desert Rose and was in the news paper many times. She is so nice, talented and a great example of enduring to the end in this mortal life! Thanks Nana!
Big Golda
Whom I am named after. She was Big Golda and I was Little Golda. Golda Jane Burton King. She died when I was about five. I remember she had burgundy to carrot orange hair. But, she had auburn hair like mine when she was younger. So I was named after the right woman! I also remember my mom buying pink canned milk at a local store. My mom told me that Big Golda ate this stuff through a tube. She had trouble talking and eating in her final years. I even remember the dress I wore to her funeral. Coco got it for me and it was black and gold. I was sad when she died because even though I was young I wanted to get to know the person I was named after. I'm glad I got to meet her even for a short time. She attended church to the very end and all the people in our ward love and remember her. They tell me that I have a lot to live up to, being named after Golda. Thanks so much for giving me a legacy like yours to live up to!
I have a lot of "adopted Grandmas" Like Sister Gammon and Sister Barker! Thanks!
