Imperial Beach

I know my families trip was a while ago but I still have to blog about it! There were so many fun things we did on the trip. It was different to have our cousins there, but it was really fun to have them come. The condo we stay in is like our second home. It feels so open with the view of the ocean and light color scheme. I love it! We did  a lot of the beach! Beach, beach, beach! Tolly ate the sand a lot, it took him a while to learn his lesson. We made sandcastles, collected seashells and buried people in the sand. We also went to the outlets, we got some good deals! We also went to some fun restaurants, like a yummy diner near Coronado, The Cheesecake Factory-my favorite restaurant- and a fun ice cream place, and Katie's Cafe-the cafe right by our condo. My aunt and uncle took me and my cousin Lexie to do baptisms for the dead in the San Diego temple. It was so beautiful! After we did baptisms we went to a delicious cafe. I got french-onion soup, a yummy sandwich, and a big mug of hot coco.
And of course we went to Bibbey's Sea Shell Shop! I got a little bottle with a crab in it, and a box of seashells, and a necklace. The 99 cent store is one of my moms favorite parts. They have everything from calenders, to tooth paste to milk to scarves! And cookies, lots and lots and lots of them! We gobble up about 10 packs of cookies a day on the beach! And they are sure yummy! They are like girl scout cookies! I even learned how to play Speed and California Speed. It's a fun card game, and Jennie is still the all-time champ. But we're getting better Jennie, you better watch it! My dad told stories every night. the characters were mari, Meestone, Mackson, Mollin. And the mermaids Sexi, Molda and Buby. And Manthe and Mizzy. (recognize the names? ) :)
A typical day in Imperial Beach is magical. You wake up hearing the ocean and seeing dolphins outside your window. Then you get up and make hot coco with the new Cocomotion. Then uncle Ryan makes some pancakes. Then you put on your swim suit and a cover up, and you are off to the beach. You eat as many cookies as you can, then go boogie boarding. When you are finally done boogie boarding you are cold, so you go to the hot tub. Then you have some of the best pizza ever! It's as big as a dinner table, and it's delicious! Then you go back to the beach, eat more cookies and then go to the condo to take a shower. Then you get dressed and go shopping for a little while and then go to The Cheesecake Factory and have your favorite dish in the world. After that you're pretty tired, and stuffed. You go back to the condo and play some California speed with your aunt, cousin, sister, dad and mom. You hear the little kids sleeping and the calming ocean and soft rumble of the clothes dryer, and you fall asleep. But your dreams have already come true.
