Calendering

My mom would seriously die without her calender. She has about 20 colorful scrawls on it each day. From an orthodontist appointment, to a cello lesson which is at the same time as a modern class. I love this picture because it portrays my mom and my aunt Jennie so well. While they were talking about who will drive to Nutcracker on which days, I said, "Wait don't move, I gotta get a picture." They are so organized and busy. I am sure the Siskins will end up just like that, since we already kinda are. I could picture Lexie and I saying, "Okay, I'll let you have 2 extra tickets to my Broadway show, if you let Elisabeth be in your preschool for free."  And Lexie saying "Deal." Then writing it on our calenders. And I guess we'll owe our organization and success to our moms!

You're funny, Golda! And you're a great writer. I love how you have your whole life planned out, kids' names included. See? You already ARE like your mom!

I love it too! That picture totally captures what we do to make all the "magic" happen. :)
